Kelly Harris
Kelly is a recognized leader in Canadian advertising + marketing law.

Her market-leading clients rely on her practical, timely, and business-focused advice. She works closely with in-house legal and their marketing teams to manage risk and develop creative solutions for challenging advertising law issues.
Kelly’s clients are primarily global retailers and manufacturers of consumer goods and services, and their advertising agencies. Many of her clients operate within specially-regulated industries such as food, cosmetics, natural health products, alcohol, and cannabis.
Kelly is frequently asked to speak on advertising law issues, including at programs sponsored by The Canadian Institute, BAA/ANA, New York City Bar, Practicing Law Institute, Canadian Bar Association, and Ontario Bar Association. She has also authored many publications on advertising law issues, including chapters in Getting the Deal Through (Lexology) and Business Laws of Canada (Thomson Reuters).

Jane Huang
Jane is an associate lawyer at harris + co.
janehuang@harrisandco.ca
She practices commercial law with an emphasis on marketing and advertising, consumer protection, privacy, and trademarks matters. Jane is also registered with the College of Patent and Trademark Agents as a trademark agent-in-training.
Jane has experience with negotiating commercial contracts and advising clients on legal issues related to marketing and advertising, product regulations, privacy, franchising, distribution, and trademarks. She often works with clients in the food, alcohol, cannabis, cosmetics, natural health product, and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, she gained business development experience at a tech startup and was part of the investment team at a venture capital fund. Jane graduated with a science degree from the University of Toronto and a law degree from Western University. While in law school, Jane was co-president of the Western Health Law Association and served as a teaching assistant for a 1L legal research, writing, and advocacy course.
